SI-LA-VIE

Packaging, Illustration, Naming

Sometimes the sound similarity of words in different languages convey completely different meanings. The word συλ-λα-βή (Si-La-Vie) in Greek means the syllable, the “building blocks” of words, consisting of consonants and vowels. This organised vocal sequence, in addition to the formulation of meaning, creates the musicality of the voice, the prosody, the tone and rhythm. Like the rhythmic parts of the tuba in an orchestra with its round, earthy, soothing and broad sound, the rhythm to the enjoyment of this wine is given by the polysyllabic word of the indigenous red variety of Xinomavro, that produces white, rosé and red wine.
