Notes

Packaging, Logos, Naming

The Goumenissa region is one of the areas of PDO (Protected Designation of Origin) wine production in Greece. Located in the mountains of Northern Greece, Goumenissa has a high level of biodiversity of plants and animals. But beside the wines, the region is also known for the impromptu brass bands, and the big community of folk musicians. Isn’t it interesting how music and wine tasting vocabulary share the same word to describe an element that combined with others can create a harmonious result? This is why we used the word “Notes” to name this fine wine. On the label, the illustration of a small woodpecker drumming on a clarinet, playing notes, implies the sounds, rhythm and this blend of nature and human creativity.
