Ηδύς < Hidys this fine sweet white wine from Cyprus comes from sun dried grapes that, after the harvest, are laid out under the ample Mediterranean sunlight to increase sugars. It’s ancient greek name “Ηδύς” means “sweet”. As this feeling of sweetness is very much associated with pleasure, we designed the label inspired by the myth of the birth of Aphrodite, goddess of pleasure and prosperity, that according to Hesiodos emerged from the sea foam on the coast of Cyprus.
